Este año se celebró el 30° aniversario de Street Fighter y Capcom decidió anunciar el lanzamiento de Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection.

Según el anuncio oficial, Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection incluye una colección de 12 entregas que debutaron antes de Street Fighter IV, por lo que recibiremos Street Fighter, Street Fighter II, Street Fighter II: Champion Edition, Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting, Super Street Fighter II, Super Street Fighter II: Turbo, Street Fighter Alpha, Street Fighter Alpha 2, Street Fighter Alpha 3, Street Fighter III, Street Fighter III: 2nd Impact y Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike. El juego contará con un componente online en Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting, Super Street Fighter II: Turbo, Street Fighter Alpha 3 y Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike, además de tablas de líderes y varias opciones para reducir la latencia en los combates.

El juego incluirá distintos modos como Museo, con una colección de arte conceptual, documentos de diseño y detalles curiosos de cada una de las entregas. Además, incluirá biografías detalladas de los personajes y un reproductor con los temas favoritos de la franquicia. Finalmente, habrá una “línea de tiempo interactiva” con la evolución de Street Fighter en sus 30 años de historia.

Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection estará disponible en Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One y PC en mayo de 2018.
